1Samuel 17:4 "And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. 5 And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. 6 And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders. 7 And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekel's of iron; and one bearing a shield went before him. 8 And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me. 32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. 43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield; but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand ; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the hosts of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands. 48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So Davis prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and smote the Philistine and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheaf , and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. 54 And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent." 57 And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand. 58 And Saul said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse the Bethlehemite."  - David with the head of Goliath. 17th century. Allessandro Turchi. Ephesians 6:10 "Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

1 Timothy 1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intersessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."
John 14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled:ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 Ans if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or believe me for the very works sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father."  Jesus makes it clear here in John's gospel, that He and God are one and the same. He gives the disciples an exhortation to believe the truth. The disciples were with Jesus, and witnessed all of the miracles he performed. Thus the question to Philip, concerning his unbelief. How could one witness, water being changed to wine, feeding 5000 people with two fish and two loaves of bread, the lame walking again, the blind receiving their sight, the dead being raised back up to life. Could any mortal accomplish these miracles. No, only God could. Had any of the gods of the known world performed miracles such as these. No, they were made of stone, wood, ect.. They could not see nor hear themselves. Jesus Christ is calling them, then and us now, to believe on him by faith. - photo credit: soulstratum:tumblr_nh6gkhAJqb1sn4o7po1_500

Revelation 3:11 "Behold, I come quickly:hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." What are these Spiritual Crowns? 1: The Incorruptible Crown, I Corinthians 9:25 "And every man that striveth for the mastery is temporate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible." 2: The Crown of Righteousness, 2 Timothy 4:8 "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."  3:The Crown of Life, James 1:12 "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."  4: The Crown of Glory, 1 Peter 5:4 "And when the chief Shepherd shall appear , ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away." (Revelation 2:10)  5:To be Guarded, Revelation 3:11 "Behold, I come quickly:hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."  6:Cast at Jesus' Feet, Revelation 4:10 "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."  Revelation 3:21 "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."

Judges 16:4 "And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah." 15:"And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hsat not told me wherein thy great strength lieth. 16: And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. 18:And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.19: And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. 20: And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him."  - Sampson and Delilah 1766, Pompeo Batoni.
